Which federal agency would be responsible for this, anyway?
Good question. At this point, we don't know which agency's jurisdiction we're
looking at here. If you do, please drop us a line.
Currently, our best guess is the FCC for NFL and MLB broadcasts, although they
have no authority over print. If we get enough people on the bandwagon, we can
probably get the AP and Reuters to go along with us, I should think; however,
while voluntary compliance on the part of the nation's news machine is a good
step, our true mission is a federal mandate.
